Frequently Asked Questions

Registration is a 3-step process:

1. Register with the team and pay your dues at register.mesatorotackle.com. There's a returning-player form and a new-player form — choose the one that fits your athlete.
2. Complete AYFL waiver registration once our full team is registered (estimated early August). We coordinate this so your family is not charged the standard AYFL fee — please do not register or pay AYFL directly on your own, or you may be charged unnecessarily.
3. Verify your athlete's National Sports ID (NSID) before August 8. NSID is required by the league and completed directly at nationalsportsid.com. It costs $10, paid on their site (not through Mesa Toros).

Dues are paid through the registration form at register.mesatorotackle.com. We accept card payments, and we offer flexible options so cost isn't a barrier:

• 3-payment plan — splits your dues into three installments. A good fit if you'd rather not pay all at once.
• Buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) — available at checkout for families who need smaller payments than our 3-payment plan allows.

  • We are sourcing Toro swag like t-shirts, shorts, hoodies, etc. These will be provided during the season

• Safety equipment - 
  • Helmet (red preferred, but not required)
  • Shoulder Pads
  • Cleats
  • Mouthguard
  • Padded Practice Pants or girdle with knee, thigh, hip, and tailbone pads

 Also bring: 

• Water Bottle! They will need this for all practices and games (especially for warm ups!) 40 oz or bigger recommended 
• Towel - these boys get super sweaty! A towel they can hook on their belt is ideal
